BEING • <br />BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW <br />NUMBER 24-2011 (A ♦ TO REGULATE <br />THE PLACING <br />• DUMPING • FILL, <br />ALTERATION • THE GRADE OF, OR <br />REMOVAL OF TOPSOIL FROM LAND IN THE <br />TOWN • LAKESHORE) <br />WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore did enact By-law number 24- <br />2011 on the 22nd day of February, 2011; <br />AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore now deems it expedient <br />to amend certain provisions contained in By-law 24-2011; <br />NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore hereby <br />enacts as follows: <br />1 That Section 2.5 of By-law 24-2011 is amended by adding the following <br />subsections (h) and (i): <br />"(h) where the lands for which a Permit is being sought have access to a <br />road under the jurisdiction of the County of Essex, evidence that the <br />County of Essex has been consulted with respect to the application for <br />a Permit together with a plan indicating how any requirements of the <br />County of Essex will be met; and <br />(i) a plan indicating how the requirements of subsections 2.6(d) and <br />2.6(h) and section 2.11 will be satisfied." <br />2. That Section 2.5 of By-law 24-2011 is amended by deleting the word "and" <br />from the end of subsection (f). <br />3. That Section 2.5 of By-law 24-2011 is amended by replacing the period at the <br />end of subsection (g) with "; and". <br />4. That Subsection 2.6(a) of By-law 24-2011 is amended by replacing the <br />semicolon at the end thereof with a period and adding the following statement <br />thereafter: <br />"The maximum permitted final elevation of raised lands shall be consistent <br />with the elevation of adjoining lands, provided that in no circumstance <br />shall the maximum final elevation of raised lands exceed one metre above <br />the crown of the road;" <br />5. That Subsection 2.6(d) of By-law 24-2011 is amended by replacing the word <br />"adjoining" with the word "neighbouring". <br />6. That Subsection 2.6(e) of By-law 24-2011 is amended by replacing the <br />semicolon at the end thereof with a period and adding the following statement <br />thereafter: <br />"The maximum slope of all required yards shall be eight centimetres per <br />metre (one inch per foot);" <br />
