Municipality of Lakeshore <br />By-law 19-2022 <br />Being a By-law to Amend By-law 2-2002, Being a By-law to Regulate Traffic on <br />Highways under the Jurisdiction of the Municipality of Lakeshore <br />Whereas pursuant to section 11 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, Council <br />may pass by-laws regulating highways, including parking and traffic on highways; <br />And whereas on February 12, 2002 Council adopted By-law 2-2002, being a by-law <br />to regulate traffic on highways within its jurisdiction; <br />And whereas Council passed resolution #33-01-2022 directing Administration to <br />prepare an amendment to By-law 2-2002 to include year-round load restrictions on <br />Municipal Class B Roads pursuant to section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act, as <br />recommended by the Division Leader — Roads, Parks and Facilities at the January <br />18, 2022 Council meeting; <br />And whereas on January 18, 2022 Council further directed that Administration bring <br />a report regarding the inclusion of gravel roads as designated Municipal Class B <br />Roads requiring signage; <br />And whereas it is deemed necessary to include gravel roads as designated <br />Municipal Class B Roads in Schedule K to By-law 2-2002, as recommended by the <br />Division Leader — Roads, Parks and Facilities at the February 15, 2022 Council <br />meeting; <br />Now therefore the Council of the Municipality of Lakeshore enacts as follows: <br />1. By-law 2-2002 shall be amended as follows: <br />a. Schedule "K" of By-law 2-2002 is repealed and replaced by Schedule <br />"A" to this by-law. <br />2.
