The Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore <br />By-law Number 123-2019 <br />A By-law to Amend By-law 94-2017 being a Comprehensive By-law <br />to Provide Rules Governing the Proceedings of the <br />Council of the Town of Lakeshore and the Conduct of its Members <br />Whereas By-law 94-2017 was passed on December 12, 2017 pursuant to the <br />Municipal Act, 2001 for governing the calling, place and proceedings of meetings; <br />And whereas the Town of Lakeshore is undertaking an electronic agenda <br />management program; <br />And whereas it is deemed expedient to change the Order of Business as outlined in <br />Section 4.1 of By-law 94-2017; <br />Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore enacts as <br />follows: <br />1. By-law 94-2017 shall be amended by replacing section 4.1 with the following: <br />"4.1 Order of Business <br />The Clerk, in consultation with the Chief Administrative Officer, shall prepare, <br />for the use of the Members at the Regular Meetings of the Council, an <br />"Agenda" (also known as the Order of Business) in the following form and <br />order: <br />1. Call to Order <br />2. Moment of Reflection <br />3. Disclosures of Pecuniary Interest <br />4. Recognitions <br />5. Public Meetings under the Planning Act <br />6. Public Presentations <br />7. Delegations <br />8. Completion of Unfinished Business <br />9. Consent Agenda <br />10. Reports for Information <br />11. Reports for Direction <br />12. Announcements by Mayor <br />13. Reports from County Council Representatives <br />14. Report from Closed Session <br />15. Notices of Motion <br />16. Question Period <br />17. Non -Agenda Business <br />18. Consideration of By-laws <br />19. Closed Session <br />20. Adjournment" <br />2.
