In this by-law: <br />"Animal Control Officer" means a person designated as such by Council; <br />"By-law Enforcement Officer" means a person designated as such by <br />Council; <br />"Corporation" means the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore; <br />"Council" means the Council of the Corporation; <br />"Farmer" means a person whose chief occupation is farming and, <br />(a) who is living upon and tilling his or her own land, or land to the <br />possession of which he or she is for the time being entitled, or <br />(b) who is a settler engaged in clearing land for the purpose of bringing <br />it to a state of cultivation; ("exploitant agricole") <br />"Firearm" means a barrelled weapon, bow or crossbow from which any shot, <br />bullet or other projectile can be discharged and that is capable of causing <br />serious bodily injury or death to a person, and includes any frame or receiver <br />of a barrelled weapon and anything that can be adapted for use as a firearm; <br />1 <br />
