THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF LAKESHORE BY-LAW 50-2015 BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 9-2007, WHICH PROVIDES RULES GOVERNING THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LAKESHORE AND THE CONDUCT OF ITS MEMBERS WHEREAS, By-law 9-2007 being a by-law to provide rules governing the proceedings of the Council of the Town of Lakeshore and the conduct of its members was adopted on May 22, 2007; AND WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the order of business in the Procedural By-law; to include a Moment of Reflection. NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore enacts as follows: That Part 4 section 4.1 of procedural by-law 9-2007 be deleted and replaced with the following: 4.1 Order of Business The Clerk, in consultation with the Chief Administrative Officer, shall prepare, for the use of the Members at the Regular Meetings of the Council, an "Agenda" (also known as the Order of Business) in the following form and order: I. Call to Order II. Moment of Reflection III. Approval of Supplementary Agenda IV. Disclosures of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof V. Recognition VI. Delegations VII. Public Presentations — Agenda Items VIII. Consent Agenda IX. Announcements by the Mayor X. Completion of unfinished business from previous meetings XI. Departmental Report 1 XII. Departmental Report 2 XIII. Departmental Report 3 XIV. Departmental Report 4 XV. Departmental Report 5 XVI. Departmental Report 6 XVII. Chief Administrative Officer XVIII. Reports from Council in "Closed Session" XIX. Reports from County Council Representatives XX. Notice of Motion XXI. Question Period XXII. Non -Agenda Business XXIII. Reading of By-laws XXIV. Resolution re: Council in "Closed Session" and/or Adjournment All other clauses and provisions of the said By-law Number 9-2007 shall be and remain in full force and effect. By-law 98-2011 is hereby repealed.
