THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF LAKESHORE <br />BY-LAW 50-2015 <br />BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 9-2007, WHICH <br />PROVIDES RULES GOVERNING THE PROCEEDINGS OF <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LAKESHORE AND <br />THE CONDUCT OF ITS MEMBERS <br />WHEREAS, By-law 9-2007 being a by-law to provide rules governing the <br />proceedings of the Council of the Town of Lakeshore and the conduct of its <br />members was adopted on May 22, 2007; <br />AND WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the order of business in the Procedural <br />By-law; to include a Moment of Reflection. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore <br />enacts as follows: <br />That Part 4 section 4.1 of procedural by-law 9-2007 be deleted and replaced with the <br />following: <br />4.1 Order of Business <br />The Clerk, in consultation with the Chief Administrative Officer, shall prepare, for the <br />use of the Members at the Regular Meetings of the Council, an "Agenda" (also <br />known as the Order of Business) in the following form and order: <br />I. Call to Order <br />II. Moment of Reflection <br />III. Approval of Supplementary Agenda <br />IV. Disclosures of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof <br />V. Recognition <br />VI. Delegations <br />VII. Public Presentations — Agenda Items <br />VIII. Consent Agenda <br />IX. Announcements by the Mayor <br />X. Completion of unfinished business from previous meetings <br />XI. Departmental Report 1 <br />XII. Departmental Report 2 <br />XIII. Departmental Report 3 <br />XIV. Departmental Report 4 <br />XV. Departmental Report 5 <br />XVI. Departmental Report 6 <br />XVII. Chief Administrative Officer <br />XVIII. Reports from Council in "Closed Session" <br />XIX. Reports from County Council Representatives <br />XX. Notice of Motion <br />XXI. Question Period <br />XXII. Non -Agenda Business <br />XXIII. Reading of By-laws <br />XXIV. Resolution re: Council in "Closed Session" and/or Adjournment <br />All other clauses and provisions of the said By-law Number 9-2007 shall be and <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />By-law 98-2011 is hereby repealed. <br />
