<br />, <br />i <br />II <br />II <br />'I <br />I <br />Ii <br />II <br />Ii <br />Ii <br />" <br />II <br />II <br />II <br />II <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />;1 <br />II <br />il <br />il <br />,I <br />II <br />I' <br />il <br />II <br />:1 <br />II <br />II <br />il <br />II <br />Ii <br />Ii <br />ii <br />" <br />I, <br />il <br />'I <br />II <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />The licence agent shall not issue a licence unless satisfied that the <br />applicant is in compliance with this by-law. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />Every dog licence shall expire on the thirty-first day of December of the <br />year for which it is issued; <br /> <br />(5) <br /> <br />Upon payment of the applicable dog licence fee, the owner shall be <br />furnished with a dog tag bearing the licence number, the year for which it <br />was issued and the words 'Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore'; <br /> <br />(6) <br /> <br />Every owner shall ensure that the dog tag is securely attached, at all <br />times, to the dog for which the licence was issued; <br /> <br />(7) <br /> <br />Every owner shall notify the licence agent upon a change in ownership of <br />a licenced dog. <br /> <br />KENNELS <br /> <br />No person shall operate a kennel without a licence; <br /> <br />Every kennel licence shall expire on the thirty-first day of December of <br />the year for which it was issued; <br /> <br />Every owner of a kennel shall be a member in good standing of the <br />Canadian Kennel Club; <br /> <br />(4) Every owner of a kennel shall pay to the Corporation a kennel licence fee <br />for each year or any portion thereof as may be established annually; <br /> <br />(5) Every application for a kennel licence shall be accompanied by the <br />following registration information: <br /> <br />(a) name and address of kennel owner; <br />(b) date of application; <br />( c) proof of current membership with the Canadian Kennel Club; and <br />(d) the applicable fee. <br /> <br />(6) <br /> <br />(7) <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Upon payment of the applicable kennel licence fee, the kennel owner shall <br />be furnished with a licence certificate bearing the certificate number, the <br />year for which it was issued and the words 'Corporation of the Town of <br />Lakeshore', which the kennel owner shall display in a prominent public <br />place in the kennel; <br /> <br />It shall be a condition of obtaining and maintaining a kennel licence that <br />the kennel owner operate the kennel in compliance with this by-law. <br /> <br />FEES <br /> <br />Licence fees and pound per diem charges shall be as set and approved by <br />the Council of the Corporation from time to time. <br /> <br />Where a dog is claimed from the poundkeeper, the poundkeeper shall <br />release the dog upon receipt of; <br /> <br />(a) proof that the claimant owns the dog; <br />(b) proof that the dog is properly licenced by the Corporation; <br />(c) proof of payment of all fees and fines incurred with respect to the dog. <br /> <br />4 <br />
