THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF LAKESHORE <br />By-law 37-2007 <br />Being a by-law to amend By-law 9-2007, which <br />provides rules governing the proceedings of the <br />Council of the Town of Lakeshore and the <br />Conduct of its members. <br />WHEREAS, By-law 9-2007 being a by-law to provide rules governing the <br />proceedings of the Council of the Town of Lakeshore and the conduct of its <br />members was adopted on May 22, 2007; <br />AND WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the order of business for delegations and <br />public presentations under part 4.1; <br />AND WHEREAS, it is necessary to add sections 7.14, 7.15 and 7.16 to include and <br />establish proceedings for public presentations. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore <br />enacts as follows: <br />That part 4.1 of procedural by-law 9-2007 be deleted and replaced with the <br />following: <br />4.1 Order of Business <br />I. Call to Order <br />II. Prayer <br />III. Approval of Supplementary Agenda <br />IV. Disclosures of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof <br />V. Recognition <br />VI. Departmental Reports 1 <br />XII. Departmental Reports 2 <br />XIII. Departmental Reports 3 <br />XIV. Departmental Reports 4 <br />XV. Departmental Reports 5 <br />XVI. Departmental Reports 6 <br />XVII. Chief Administrative Officer <br />XVIII. Reports from Council in "Closed Session" <br />XIX. Reports from County Council Representatives <br />XX. Resolution re: Council in "Closed Session" and/or Adjournment <br />The Order of Business for Planning or Committee meetings will reflect the <br />nature of the matters to be considered or the Delegations to be heard. <br />That parts 7.14, 7.15 and 7.16 be added to Procedural By-law 9-2007. <br />Public Presentations: <br />7.14 Public presentations will be allowed by individuals who want to address <br />Council on any matters listed on the agenda. Notwithstanding section 7.6 a <br />maximum of four minutes shall be allocated for each public presentation. <br />
