<br />CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF LAKESHORE <br /> <br />BY-LAW NUMBER 24-2005 <br /> <br />BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER <br />58-2001 BY-LAW TO REGULATE THE HEIGHT <br />AND DESCRIPTION OF FENCES WITHIN THE <br />CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF LAKESHORE <br /> <br />WHEREAS it is deemed necessary for the municipality to amend By-Law Number <br />58-2001. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE the council of the corporation of the town of lakeshore hereby <br />enacts as follows: <br /> <br />1. That sections 7 and 8 are deleted and replaced by the following: <br />7. On lots abutting Lake St. Clair, no person shall construct or cause to be <br />constructed: <br /> <br />(1) a fence that exceeds 1.2 metres in height if located in any rear <br />yard or front yard or that exceeds 1.8 metres in height if located in <br />any side yard. <br /> <br />(2) a fence using a material other than chain link or other materials <br />approved by the Chief Building Official in any rear yard. <br /> <br />(3) any solid row of vegetation, any portion of which, is within 1.2 <br />metres of the property line in any rear yeard. <br /> <br />2.
